Proficient Telecom is a participating service provider in the E-Rate Funding Program for schools and libraries throughout the United States.

If your school or library is actively evaluating service providers, you should consider the following questions:

1. What is important to our current provider or the provider we are considering? Are schools and libraries at the core of their market focus or are they just another customer segment?
2. Will our current provider or the provider we are considering be available when we need them? Do they provide 7 X 24 live technical support?
3. Will our current provider or the provider we are considering monitor our network, proactively address problems and notify us of aberrations that will likely soon cause us problems, or will they rely on us to tell them when there is a problem?
4. Will our current provider or the provider we are considering charge us the prices they quote, or will they add on up to 20% more in taxes and special charges?
5. Will our current provider or the provider we are considering let us out of long-term contracts in the event we are unable to get funding due to elimination of the E-Rate program?
